3. Other nationalities

Egypt

Sentenced to between five years and nine months and are 20 accused including six fugitives, our sources get 13 of them, have been sentenced in the case of 30 Egyptian- UAE[1].

  1. Abdullah Al Arabi Abdullah Omar Ibrahim: a teacher and administrator of the Islamic Education, arrested on 30 November 2012. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine. Actually detained in Al Wathba prison.
  2. Abdullah Mohamed Ibrahim Zaza: dental specialist working in the UAE for 25 years, and owns a private clinic in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, arrested on 3 January 2013. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine. Actually, in Al Wathba prison.
  3.  Abdulmoneim Ali Al Said Atyea: managing director in the Emirate of Dubai, lives in the UAE since 2008, arrested on 3 January 2013. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine. Actually detained in Al Wathba prison.
  4. Ahmad Labib Gafar Ahmad: media director, and resides in the UAE for 14 years, arrested on 14 December 2012. He was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine.Actually detained in Al Wathba prison.
  5. Ahmed Mahmoud Taha: math teacher, and lives in the Emirate of Ajman, and working in the UAE for 25 years, arrested on 19 December 2012. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine. Actually, in Al Wathba prison.
  6. Ali Ahmed Ibrahim Sonbol: Doctor in one of a medical center in the "Jumeirah" area in the Emirate of Dubai, 29 years ago, arrested on 19 December 2012. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine.Actually, in Al Wathba prison.
  7. Ibrahim Abdulaziz Ibrahim Ahmad: telecom engineer in one of the oil companies, resident in UAE since 30 years, arrested on 15 December 2012. He was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine.Actually, in Al-Wathba prison.
  8. Medhat Mohamed Mustafa Al-ajez: teacher of chemistry at the College of Pharmacy at the University of Ajman, for 10 years, arrested on 30 November 2012. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine.Actually detained in Al Wathba prison.
  9. Mohamed Abdelmoneim Mohamed Mahmoud: medical doctor at Al Sharjah hospital, arrested on 7 January 2013. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine. Actually detained in Al Wathba prison.
  10. Mohamed Mahmoud Ali Shahdah: medical doctor in one of the government hospitals in Dubai, for 10 years, arrested on 30 December 2012. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine.Actually detained in Al Wathba prison.
  11. Mourad Mohamed Hamed Othman Badawi, a businessman and owner of a construction company, residing in the Gulf Arab state for 14 years, aged 49, arrested on 19 December 2012. He was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine.Actually detained in Al Wathba prison.
  12. Salah Mohamed Rezq Al Mashad: engineer electromechanic in Dubai Municipality, residing in the UAE for 25 years, aged 58, arrested on 11 December 2012. He was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine.Actually, in Al Wathba prison.
  13. Saleh Farag Dhaifullah: Director of one of the Control Department of Islamic banks in the Emirate of Dubai, aged 55, arrested on 21 November 2012. He was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine. Actually detained in Al Wathba prison.
  14. Medhat Ragab Abdallah Ammar ( مدحت رجب عبد الله عمار ), arrested On 20 January 2013, he is currently detained in Al Wathba prison. He was sentenced to 5 years and 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine.
    1. Sameh Bassiouni Abdullah Alam, arrested on 11 February 2015 in Dubai, sentenced to one month in prison in April for “falsely reporting a crime” but has not yet been released.

  5. Ahmad Mohamed Abdullah(عبد الله أحمد محمد), of Egyptian nationality and currently not detained. Tried in absentia to 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine.
  6. Hamada Abdul Aziz, also called Hammada Abdulaziz Abdul Maqsoud by UAE authorities (حمادة عبدالعزيز), of Egyptian nationality and currently not detained. Tried in absentia to 4 years and 6 months in jail and fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine.

He was sentenced to 3 months in jail in this case but he has already been convicted in the UAE 94 case for which he was sentenced to 10 years in jail.Al Nuaimi is currently detained in Al Razeen prison.
  1. Hasan Muhammad Hasan Ahmad (UAE) / Hassan Al Hammadi (source) / Hassan Mohammed Al Hammad (WGAD): Hassan Mohammed Al Hammadi (حسن محمد حسن أحمد الحمادي), from Sharjah, aged 52, arrested on 30 July 2012. He was sentenced to 1 year and 3 months in jail in this case but he has already been convicted in the UAE 94 case for which he was sentenced to 10 years in jail. Al Hammadi is currently detained in Al Razeen prison.
  1. Khalid Al Sheiba Al-Nuaimi, also called Khalid Muhammad Abdullah al-Shaiba al-Nuaimi by UAE authorities (خالد محمد عبدالله الشيبة النعيمي), from Ajman, aged 61, arrested on 16 July 2012. he was sentenced to 1 year and 3 months in jail in this case but he has already been convicted in the UAE 94 case for which he was sentenced to 10 years in jail. Al-Nuaimi is currently detained in Al Razeen.
  1. Hamad Roqait, also called Hamad Hasan Ali Raqit by UAE authorities (حمد حسن علي قيط), from Sharjah, aged 54, arrested on 24 July 2012. he was sentenced to 1 year and 3 months in jail as well as fined for an amount of 3000 Dirham fine in this case but he has already been convicted in the UAE 94 case for which he was sentenced to 10 years in jail. Roqait is currently detained in Al Sader prison.
  1. Ali Saeed Al-Kindi, also called Ali Said al-Kindi by UAE authorities (علي سعيد محمد حسن الكندي), from Sharjah, aged 36, arrested on 9 September 2012. He was sentenced to 1 year in this case but he has already been convicted in the UAE 94 case for which he was sentenced to 10 years in jail. Al-Kindi is currently detained in Al Razeen prison.
  1. Rashid Omran Al Shamsi, also called Rashid Imran al-Shamsi by UAE authorities (راشد عمران علي عبيد الشامسي), from Sharjah, aged 34, arrested on 16 July 2012. He was sentenced to 1 year in this case but he has already been convicted in the UAE 94 case for which he was sentenced to 10 years in jail (double check might be 7 years). Al Shamsi is currently detained in Al Razeen prison.
  1. محمد علي صالح المنصور المنصوري), from Ras Al-Khaimah, aged 55, arrested on 16 July 2012. He was sentenced to 1 year in prison in this case but he has already been convicted in the UAE 94 case for which he was sentenced to 10 years in jail. Al Mansoori is currently detained in Alwathba prison.
  1. Tariq Al-Qasim, also called Tariq Ibrahim Abdulrahim al-Qasim by UAE authorities (طارق ابراهيم عبدالرحيم القاسم), from Dubai, aged 48, arrested on 19 July 2012. He was sentenced to 1 year in prison in this case but he has already been convicted in the UAE 94 case for which he was sentenced to 10 years in jail. Al-Qasim is currently detained in Al Razeen prison.
  1. Husain Al-Najjar Al Hammadi, also called Husain Ali Abdullah al-Najjar by UAE authorities (حسين علي عبدالله النجار الحمادي), from Sharjah, aged 39, arrested on 16 July 2012. He was sentenced to 1 year in prison in this case but he has already been convicted in the UAE 94 case for which he was sentenced to 10 years in jail. Al-Najjar is currently detained in Al Razeen prison.
  1. Saleh Muhammad Saleh al-Zafiri(UAE)/ Saleh Al-Dhufairi (source): Saleh Al-Dhufairi (صالح محمد صالح الظفير), from Ras Al-Khaimah, aged 53, of Emirati nationality. He was arrested on 29 April 2012. He was sentenced to 4 years and 3 months in jail in this case but he has already been convicted in the UAE 94 case for which he was sentenced to 10 years in jail. Al-Dhufairi is currently detained in Al Razeen prison.

Yemen

  1. Abdullah Abdelmoneim Al Tamimi, media teacher, arrested on March 30, 2014. Actually detained in Al Wathba prison.
  2. academic study and scientific research at the University of Al Ain - Abu Dhabi, arrested on February 27, 2014.

According to 11 statement from the people of Yemeni detainees in the UAE that they (the three professors at universities in the UAE, and 2 in Dubai Police, as well as a journalist and engineer, and three imams of mosques, and private sector employee.) Were arrested in 2014, has not been determined their identities, or is brought before a trial.

Oman

1-   Muawiya al-Ruwahi, Omani writer and blogger, arrested on 23 February 2015 as he entered the UAE from Oman. He was moved to al-Wathba Prison in Abu Dhabi in May 2015 and his case has been transferred to the State Security Chamber of the Federal Supreme Court. His trial has been scheduled to begin on 14 September 2015 on charges as yet unknown.

  2. Wadih bin Abdul Qadir Bounenni, seven years in prison and a fine of one million dirhams ($ 272 thousand).
  3. Ramzi bin al-Salem Touati, seven years in prison.
  4. Spring Abdul Qadir bin Sulaiman, seven years in prison.
  5. Bader Mohammed Nader Ghazzawi, seven years in prison and a fine of one million dirhams ($ 272 thousand).

  1. Abdulaziz Mubarak Al-Suwaidi, held in September 22, 2014, was hidden in an undisclosed location.
  2. Abdullah Al-heloo, arrested on April 23, 2014, was hidden in an undisclosed location.
  3. Ahmed Mohamed Al-Mulla, arrested on May 1, 2014, was hidden in an undisclosed location for three months. On August 22, 2014, he was transferred to Al-Wathba Prison in Abu Dhabi.

He and his colleagues in the case claimed that they were severely tortured). Ali is a student in medical school in UAE University and does not seem to be Salafi and his tweets are shy and does not even discuss the arrest of his father. He is being arrested apparently because he is the son of Salim. He was arrested at 9:30 pm while he was going to buy bread for the dinner.

Turkey

1. Amer Al-Shawa, arrested by UAE Police airport on October 2, 2014, without a clear charge. He was for a period of 5 months in an undisclosed location. After significant pressure, he was suddenly released by the Emirati authorities in February 13, 2015.

 

Egypt

Most of them were arrested and have not been charged, is not known whether the state security apparatus has deported them or not as:

  1. Abdul Rahim Mohammad Yousuf (59 years), was held in January 13, 2014.
  2. Ahmed El Madawy Massad (30 years) was held on January 13, 2014, deported to Egypt.
  3. Ahmed Nassef ,52 year, Financial Controller at the Ministry of Interior, resident in Abu Dhabi.
  4. Ayman Zahran, 38 years, Marketer, a resident of Sharjah.
  5. Ezzet Annemer, 45 years, an accountant, a resident in Dubai.
  6. Hamdi Nassar, 54 years, Imam and the preacher at Ministry of endowments - resident of Sharjah.

Qatar (all released):

  1. Yousef Abdul Samad Abdul Ghani Mullah (30 years), arrested on June 27, 2014 at the al- Ghuwaifat border post, released on 18 March 2015, and deported to Qatar.

2. Hamad Mohammed Ali Hamadi (33 years), was detained on June 27, 2014, sentenced to 10 years in prison, was pardoned by the president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and deported back to Qatar on 22 May 2015.

3. Dr. Mahmood Abdulrehman Al Jaidah, arrested on February 26, 2013 and sentenced to 7 years on March 3, 2014 after a nine-month stay in a secret prison. He received a pardon on 22 May 2015 from the president of the UAE, and was deported to Qatar that day.

Libya

1-   Bashir Al-Shabah, arrested on August 2014 and held in a secret location. He was released on December 2014.

2-   Tahir Kalfat, arrested on August 2014, held in a secret location and released on December 2014.

3-   Refaat Haddagah, arrested on August 2014 and held in a secret location. He was released on December 2014.

4-   Kamal Aldharat, summoned for questioning at Dubai’s police station on 26 August 2014 and held in a secret location until now.

5-   Mohamed Kamal Aldharat, arrested on 27 August 2014 and held in a secret location (released).

6-   Mohammad al-Fighi, arrested on August 2014 and he is in a secret location.

7-   Mohammed Al-Aradi, arrested on August 2014, held in a secret location and released on December 2014.

8-   Al-Sadiq al-Kikli, arrested on August 2014 and held in a secret location.

9-  Salim Al-Aradi, arrested at a hotel in Dubai on 29 August 2014 and held in a secret location.

Palestine

1-   Ryiadh AbdAlrazak Chkoukan, arrested on 11 May 2015 for nine days. Emirati State security service in Sharjah gave him a one week as a deadline to leave the country. (released)

2-   Journalist Mahmoud AbdulHadi, (55 years), managing director in media, October 28, 2013, released on December 16, 2013.
